She was absolutely incredible on the show. She deserved the world after S1.

She really was. I was so rooting for her character. IMO the show really went downhill after idk the 2nd or 3rd season, can't remember, but i loved loved loved in the beginning when they showed the scenes from both her and Dominic's perspectives, as the differences (even subtle ones like a skirt hem being shorter or a flirty look) were fascinating.

This just seemed like it was a really unsafe set in general. And I know it might seem like it’s too little too late for Dominic to be speaking up now but in my experience make actors can take a while before they go “wait that was really fucked up and I hated it but also never ask me about this again” if that makes sense.

Also in the way he phrased it, it sounds like he might have experienced some things too and if that's the case then I don't blame him for taking his own time to come to terms with what happened on the set.

Poor Ruth though.

I love all the actors on that show, but I bounced after season 1. It should have been better with the caliber of actors they had, and I'm really sad to hear it was a crappy set on top of that.

His response sounds like he experienced it as well? Which does not sound great for the people on the set. It sort of sounds like speaking to her made him realise things that happened to them he didn't question were fucked up in retrospect.

For anyone who didn't know Ruth Wilson ran the London Marathon for her dad with Alzheimers today.

(4:53:26 if you were wondering her time)

I loved her in that role! She had such a great chemistry/dynamic with Toby Stephens.
