‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’ sequel in the works with original stars and director

30 years after the release of “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,” the cult classic from director Stephan Elliott is getting a sequel. Original trio of stars Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce and Hugo Weaving will return to their roles for the new film.

I had ALWAYS mixed this title up with To Wong Fu so at this point I'm like pretty sure I had not watched Priscilla at all? Failure as an 90s child...

considering we now have shows like rupaul's drag race and such i'm a little curious to see how the modern spin to this could be taken. they could really take this to the next level. or it could be a flop like zoolander 2.
