Support small boutique labels and mom&pop film shops. If you like the horror, let me know and I'll point you in the direction of some good shops and amazing boutique labels!

Always have to start out with my local one Orbit DVD! If you're ever in Asheville, NC, make sure to check them out!
Vinegar Syndrome
Severin Films
Criterion Collection, which is a bigger label, but still a great one!
101 Films
Arrow Video
Second Sight Films

and not just horror but great stuff:

CDJapan for a lot of Japanese media
eThaiCD for Thai
YesAsia for Asian media in general

are just a few!

Some of the labels are from different countries, so I highly suggest getting a region free blu ray player (Orbit sells them!)

tbh I buy blu rays and so rarely even open then, that's why I wait until they're on deep discount.

our bookstore used to get used dvds/blurays for like 6 months and then stopped??? I managed to get one.

We still have some; the least popular movie we have is Marsh King's Daughter of all things. I just checked online not make a quick trip to Target to check.

i was there last week trying to find the lego ninjago movie, and noticed there wasn’t a movie section at all. just video games, music, and books

I don’t buy dvds anymore, but I have loads that people tell me to get rid of. It would cost a fortune to repurchase them all and I don’t even think they’re all available on the streaming platforms I use.
