Hulu's #UndertheBridge is a harrowing tale of teenage cruelty while also being one of the few true crime dramatizations to actually respect its victim; @annagovert reviews: https://t.co/rEIWISyLyo

Oh wow, I didn't fully realize this show was about Reena Virk until now. I was a young kid in BC when this all happened and I remember so many speeches in school about bullying because of this, I didn't fully grasp what had happened until I learned more about it as I got older. Teens can be so terrifying when in groups, not sure I want to watch this show tbh.

I was already looking forward to checking this out knowing of Lily’s involvement, but now that I know Archie is in it too I will be tuning in the moment it becomes available to watch. I am SO happy/excuted to see Archie again. I haven’t seen her in anything since The Good Wife and have been so angry about how she was treated. Resent Margulies for ruining that show for me, unwilling to rewatch.

has anyone read the book that this is based on? i'm curious if it's worth reading before checking out the series. after i read the series of print articles that inspired that elizabeth olsen true crime miniseries, i didn't feel the need to watch it in dramatized form.

I have, and it's not worth it. Based on this post, the show does a far better job telling Reena's story without further victimizing her (which I felt the book did, unintentionally or not).

I never heard of this case before. Ever since the Netflix dramatisation of Ted Bundy I'm wary to watch any fiction involving real people. The direct lifting of trial transcripts was so fucked up.

I think Lily Gladstone is beyond amazing. Inserting a fictional character in a truthful story makes me wary of using her as a narrative device
