I've been watching old episodes/seasons of svu lately and it's terrible but GOD I LOVE IT

I tend to skip anything that's not benson/stabler though. unless it's munch/tutuola. I noticed hulu has a "ripped from the headlines" section under the show so I might check some of those out today lol.

I highly recommend the post-Stabler eps with Kat (still mad they got rid of her but she had a decent exit) and most of the eps with Nick. Rafael-centric episodes are also a highlight, and tbh they've done a good job with the drama and world-building of this current season.

Is Stabler’s brothers drugs supposed to be connected to the thing that Sam was doing/got kidnapped for? Come on, ridiculous that there’d be that connection, especially after this long estranged dude started hanging with his brothers we never met over 20+ years until now.

I guess people must love this but I fucking hate how Stabler CONSTANLY ignores what his boss tells him, and yet she just throws her hands up and is like “that wacky stabler” rather than reprimanding him. And it bothers me more that it’s a woman, and disgusts me that it is a woman of color, whom he constantly ignores and whose authority he constantly defies.

And on a similar note, how Stabler is always so impulsive when it comes to arresting people but when it’s his own brother suddenly veeeeery cautious. Although I guess that’s also typical.

I'd say it's entirely possible that L&O is just not uploading any promos because they are very rude.

Googling my parents would do nothing. There's a Toronto actor and a Toronto filmmaker with the same name as my dad. When the filmmaker drowned a few years ago, we actually got at least one call at our office just to check it wasn't my dad. The problems of having an extremely popular surname.

Once I was visiting Los Angeles and the cover story was about a young woman with the exact same name as me being killed in a car accident. Trippy af.

On a less spooky note, my name is pretty uncommon but my Dad called me up recently to tell me to check my mail - he saw an author with the same name as me who wrote about evolution through a feminist lens and knew he needed to send her book to me. We know one another too well lol.
