I forgot he was in Chappie which was directed by Neill and then Sharlto Copely being in Monkey Man made a lot more sense lol

Hopefully I can find time to see this again. I need the third act fight scene injected into my veins.

I definitely see why you said the first part felt rushed lmao that second half really hits its stride though and I wonder how much he was able to even do given his consistently changing conditions on the film.

I enjoyed it so much though. I'm not a huge action film fan in general but I had a lot of fun lol

The fact that the internet sanghis are big mad on twitter over this -- calling Dev a "coolie" and part of a Western media conspiracy to besmirch their rightwing nationalism -- has got my hopes up despite the the trailer edits posted a few weeks ago. I knew I was right to trust my gut about him.
