Nobody would have questioned it anyway - its Hollywood. If it isn't ageist and the director won't cast a younger and supposedly sexier lady than the role could BIOLOGICALLY REQUIRE they ain't making it. Especially if you're not casting a much older actor as the love interest (looking at you Antonio, 40 to her 27).

Edit to add that wasn't a dig at Carla. She's a gorgeous lady. But nothing about this is shocking lol.

Well the movie isn't called Spy Adults. Maybe she started out as a kid spy. She was definitely too young for the role but probably not egregiously so. If anything, Antonio Banderas's character was too old. Is he supposed to be jumping off cliffs and fist-fighting people into his 40s?

27 is crazy! as a kid though it didnt cross my mind because anybody over the age of 18 felt old to me lmao
