I never watched any of the spin-off shows but I was obsessed with the OG NCIS for years. Used to be a pretty hardcore Kate/Tony shipper, though I didn't mind Ziva/Tony. I dipped out when Ziva left and haven't looked back.

I'm not going to watch it, but I am curious how the show is without Gibbs. I really didn't think it would go on without him.

(Also find it very funny that in the show universe, McGee has been there for like 15 years and didn't get a promotion one Gibbs left. I get it from a story telling POV but if it was real life, I'd be so pissed.)

1000 sounds crazy!

I have only seen the original show though, I don't watch any of the spin-offs. Hawaii though I do think makes sense as a setting because of the huge navel base in Pearl Harbor. Los Angeles though I don't get, the base is in San Diego.

Is gibs dead or is he still building ships in the basement, in his unfurnished house?

I stopped watching it in the early 2010s but I give it props for one of the most shocking deads. Kate's death is right up there with my bb Will Gardner -fuck the Kings TRULY!😤- and George O'Malley. Seeing her suddenly go from laughing to dead was traumatizing to my young soul.

I thought of watching when they brought back Hamm and Mac but ended up skipping it when I learned that they broke up soon after the JAG finale. Like what was the point.

Gibbs' past was catching up to him so he moved to Alaska.

Her death was crazy. I remember watching it live and just being totally shocked. Not only just the way she went down, but the follow-up shot of blood splatter on Tony’s face. It was really well executed, pun intended.
