Those are 3 names I never thought I'd see next to each other.

I was in this play a million years ago! ...Yeah, it's kinda boring, but there are some great acting moments here & there.

I just commented something similar. I was Emily in a production and liked being in it but I can see why people might find it a boring show.

I understand having one Hollywood celebrity to draw people in for your Broadway production, but this is too many people who to my knowledge have never done stage acting before. That is both very risky and kind of unfair to actual stage actors.

But then again I didn't realize this was a play people went to by choice - I thought it was only done in schools and small theaters to audiences of bored family and friends?

I think of the principal cast, Zoey Deutch is the only one making her Bway debut.

It's good the others are prepared for the insane amount of work each night at least.

Our Town is one of those classics that need a really strong director who has a fresh and CLEAR version or else it gets lost in the fray. Doesn’t matter how strong the actors are. If the vision is not there, then everything will fall apart and be boring compared to a new work. Because why revive Our Town now?

I saw Kenny Leon’s King James and it was really good, but it was a new work so nothing to really compare it to. Strong writing and the cast was great.
