Lizzo’s request to have the sexual harassment lawsuit filed against her dismissed was denied by a Los Angeles judge.

I knew that particular claim had no chance so not surprised it got tossed but there was more then enough in some of the other claims.

- the sexual harassment and failure to remedy sexual harassment claims about the nude photoshoot;
- the disability discrimination (anxiety) claims about re-auditioning making the plaintiff so nervous she urinated on herself, recording conversations in violation of the NDA and sending them to a recently fired dancer, and voluntarily confessing to sending the recording, which resulted in her immediate termination;
- the intentional interference with economic advantage claim about putting the dancers on a soft hold.
The judge made of a point of stating that this doesn't mean the court is saying the plaintiff's claims are true or that the defendant can't ask for a summary judgment on the other claims under other applicable law, just that anti-SLAPP law doesn't apply to them.
