It feels so silly what they did. Why did they fumble their opportunity so badly? They really had such a great opportunity to make a critically acclaimed and mainstream piece of television from start to finish and they threw it in the trash can so easily (at least it seems so). Instead of being known as a show that started amazing and ended up very badly, it could have been with the likes of Breaking Bad etc etc. Oh well. I don't get it.

I am one of the ones who hated white saviour Dany from the second season, and saw the mad queen coming. Like I remember in season two, telling my friend "ohhhh, she is definitely going to go bad". But it was such a good slow burn of her becoming like that, for it to end like .789 seconds later, was such a waste. I have no issue with her turning evil and dying, since she was pretty ruthless and it kept building, but I wanted to see more of it.

Also. What was even the point of having Jon be a Targaryen if he wasn't gonna be king and he was going to fuck off back to the wall. Stupid.

Arya killing the witch king tho, I am here for ittttt.

Fuck these guys. You could tell they were over it because they dropped so many story lines, like what was the point of Jon's Targaryen and Stark parent reveal? Why did the Others/Night King want a long night? What was their reason? What was the point of the prince that was promised

the night king/white walkers was THE biggest waste. the series literally opens with them, they are the big existential threat and YET they came and went without most of westeros never seeing or being impacted by them. what was the point, what was the reason for ANY of it.

That pissed me off so bad. All that build up for the DUMBEST fucking ending. That entire episode was trash. Why would anyone send the Dothraki on horseback into the pitch black when they have no idea where the enemy is?? Did they not also have archers??? So frustrating.

Them stripping the magic aspect out is honestly unforgivable. What a stupid thing to do. How are dragons okay but everything else isn't? I don't know why they put all their eggs in the Night King basket when the whole thing ended up being a big wet fart.

They've always struggled with the characters too. They picked obvious favorites to strip of their nastier actions (Tyrion), and at the end of the day, I don't think I like what they did with any of them beyond some more minor characters like Jorah. Theon is my favorite character so "fixing" his lifelong identity crisis by having Jon of all people tell him he's a "Greyjoy and a Stark" and belittling his prisoner status in Winterfell has made me seethe for years. The only reason that character worked at all through the show's Stark goggles was because Alfie Allen was a good enough actor to pull it off.
