Which is not very old.
It's never good for child's development to be put on reality tv. No matter how much money parents have. And it's always a sign of being a greedy piece of shit.

In hindsight, that was clearly not the case. I just hope all the kids are finding peace, support and healing.

But then greed took over after they see how much they got. Suddenly, the kids are the breadwinners not only to pay the bills, but for the parents to live through their children, and fame going to their heads.
I finally watched "Quiet on the Set" last week, and that mother who let a child predator contact her daughter, who put her daughter in auditions because she resented her own mother for not letting her join the entertainment business. Her mother saw the shady Hollywood shit, that's why lady!

This was ten years ago. I was connected to Elance (now I think it’s Upwork?) and contracted to handle certain big clients experimenting with their Enterprise services. It went well for a few so I landed the Discovery account but they were messy and non-responsive after 2 months, until finally a mailer daemon explained point of contact was no longer there. That was the only point of contact. The people at Elance blamed me (when not having gotten more people’s info at Discovery was arguably more the gaffe of the relationship manager at Elance- I was the workhorse recruiting and onboarding), my contract was terminated (because I was just a freelancer), and they even took me off the flourishing programs I built. After that, I struggled get back “anchor” clients and I’d really had enough of freelance income being so unpredictable. I went back to full-time project management for websites(do not recommend), then five years ago switched entirely to public service where I have Union protections and a pension (very much recommend ( ... )
