Maybe she has a short attention span? I know I do. It doesn’t mean her movies aren’t good.

Saying that, I have walked out of one of her movies. I’m side that was unrelated to her attention span though.

I'm on the side that it has nothing to do with her attention span. I think it's a bit silly to not engage with the work of your industry. I remember Candice Patton saying before Kevin Smith directed an episode of The Flash that she never used to watch herself, and he asked her how she ever expected to improve if she didn't see what she was doing. If you don't want to watch your stuff, sure-but at least watch what your peers are putting out there. I'm sure there's something to learn from studying what's out there in your field.

Also I wanted to be snarky lol. Idc if she doesn't watch her movies because I'm not watching them!

I legit can’t sit through a movie. My ADHD brain just gets so easily distracted. Even TV shows are hard to watch. Strangely if I watch stuff I’ve already watched, it easier to sit through. Idk.

Yeah, my adhd brain has me on my phone or iPad while I’m watching movies and tv at home, but that’s cause I like background noise and it’s usually something I don’t have o focus focus on. Like I haven’t finished season one, and will have to start over again Narcos because I don’t speak Spanish and have to read the subtitles and I have to FOCUS. Maybe that’ll be my new show to watch while I’m on the treadmill or elliptical though hmmmmm

However I was totally able to watch Oppenheimer in the theater with no issues, and I’m STILL shocked I could. That movie just drew me in and it wasnt just because of Cillians beautiful face

I watch a lot of movies in cinemas, but most of the time when I watch something at home, I get distracted / reach for my phone. Don't read as many books as I used to either. It suuuuuuuucks. I should get checked for ADHD.
