What is everyone's thoughts on this show so far?

I'm still a bit on the fence. I think it's entertaining enough, but I'm not quite hooked.
The cast is great though.

I really like it, Kristen is great and I love the tacky fashion.

The fashion is great! It's so nice to look at. Though with the end of the last episode, I have a feeling it's gonna get a better beginning next episode so I plan on sticking around, at least for now.

I was cackling when Evelyn was complaining how tacky the party was because I absolutely loved how over the top the party was!

The clothes continue to amuse me every week. Even when they’re outfits I would never wear, I love seeing them.

As always with Apple+ shows, I had no idea this existed but now I’ve gotta watch it for the cast and retro gaudiness.

In some ways, Palm Royale reminds me of another Apple show, Acapulco. They’re both bright and colorful with over the top fashion and sets that elevate the frothy plots. They’re fun to watch for the visuals and the silliness.

I can’t get over how much Kristen Wiig reminds me of Anna Camp with the hair and accent.

Kaia Gerber continues to stick out like a sore thumb. She’s so beautiful but her acting is so bad.

I can’t wait to hear Douglas explain why he never told Maxine that he was engaged to Linda.

imho she's like a taller Rachel Bilson. Strangely similar in both looks and acting ability

the rachel bilson comparison is SO accurate. her acting definitely reminds me of Summer

This definitely felt like a whiter, less funny Acapulco for the first three episodes, but episode 4 turned it around for me. It's starting to go in an Ugly Betty direction with the unabashedly silly telenovela twists, and I am all in for that.

Also I randomly played wordle again today for the first time in probably a year and a half and my first guess was only one letter off from the correct answer.
