Mmmmm, I don't know. I love me some Bob but I don't see Timmy pulling it off. Specially when I'm Not There already exists.

Plus Bob had an androgynous look, that's why Cate was perfectly cast. And Tim just looks like a young boy.

You beat me to it. I was gonna say Cate looked more like Dylan than Timmy does. He doesn't have Dylan's body type either, so he doesn't resemble him in the long shots.

I have a hard time seeing him as Dylan.

Honestly I'm impressed with what I've seen so far in the photos. I think he might pull it off.
