hmmm part of the original was how they could get away with everything due to 80s negligent parenting and nobody checking her references at her job lol. I wonder how it will translate... that mom would get charged with child abandonment

Lol! Though to be fair these were all supposed to be teen clothes inspired by uniforms, not meant for actual professionals lol. Sue Ellen had a much more classic style herself with some funky prints and earrings mixed in (her earring collection was everything).

This movie is very 80s/90s which is why it works the way it does. Don't think they can pull off a lot of it with a modern setting.
