A couple months ago I got fed up with brow serum and decided I was going to get my brows microbladed, but then the serum went on sale at Ulta so I abandoned the idea. Maybe I'll revisit it though. I've never heard of anyone regretting it.

ever since i saw that tiktok filter of what is ur undertone, its all i see now when i look at people and their foundation or watch grwm stuff lol especially light skin girls who use a very yellow based foundation and then add bronzer and contour but its also warm undertone.

I remember that for the longest time, I had problems finding a matching foundation because even the lightest one (I'm not even kidding, the closest matching shade that I found by Maybelline was called Light Ivory, that's how pale I am) didn't have the right undertone for my skin, it was either too yellor or too orange.
At that point I simply just stopped using foundation but a couple of years ago out of curiosity I give it a try to some korean/asian brands and only then did I finally found matches that wouldn't make me look like an oompa loompa.

I think the Essence mousse foundation was the only one that had a perfect match for me (and that was cheap but still offered great coverage) but at one point they stopped selling the shade I needed, maybe I should look up if they brought it back.

I’m pretty pale - like second-lightest shade in most ranges pale - and I’m annoyingly somewhere between a cool and a neutral undertone, so depending on the time of year and how tan I am the foundation I need varies. I usually struggle to find a good colour match for myself. My current pattern is Estée Lauder in Cool Bone during winter/spring, and then I’ll get colour matched for something with a little more yellow in it for the summer.
