This looks interesting, and it just reminded me of this micro documentary I saw on youtube once called The Group, about a bunch of youth group/drug counseling centers that were essentially a cult, it was made by an ex member.

Can't wait. I fell down one of those internet "rabbit holes" reading about Synanon when I learned Florrie Fisher (who inspired the main character on Strangers with Candy) was affiliated with them.
