Also, I will never understand having grown men kiss children in tv/movies. It's really gross/insideous. I think I remember Hilary Duff talking about being nervous about kissing Chad micheal Murray and the director being like make out while he watched.

what, I have never thought abt how old Hilary was in that movie. Just looked it up, she was abt 16 when they made it and CMM was 22? he looks convincingly enough like a teenager in that movie that I never thought abt their ages. why is this so common! why!

Maybe I’m reaching but why the fuck was there a children’s show called “The Naked Brothers Band”??

No one should be scared of the word naked but come on. What am I missing here? Why does the word exist as part of the show?

Although Nat revised the band's title to The Silver Boulders in preschool, Polly Draper revived it as she felt it would be more suitable for the show."

It's a little 🤨 but I can see it making sense for a Nickeldeon show... like thinking kids will find the word 'naked' funny? I was a teen when it came out so I never saw it but when I'd overhear I thought it was like a parody of Barenaked Ladies.

That wasn’t completely on Nick, but they could have asked to change the name.

The name came from Alex and Nat Wolff calling themselves that when they were kids. Their mom made an mockumentary about their band. Nick saw it, and developed it into a TV series.

it is so horrifying this was after my generation of nickelodeon shows and took place after dan was all over every show and STILL children were being put in these situations with abusers. like wtf.
