Sameee. I need her to be in contention for an Oscar again, even if she doesn’t end up winning it (I don’t think she will tbh i don’t think Hollywood really sees her like that yet and this movie won’t change that) so we can get all the sound bites about being so method she drank a prop drink and she actually felt drunk all over again! Give it to me now.

I agree with the OP that they'll try to go with an original song campaign cause I'm not sure a Lead or Supporting nom comes from this (not against it though!) but I think they'll do a song for this! Hopefully cause I'd like to hear a Harely-POV song from Gaga!

I need serious actor gaga to come thru!!

Yeah in Gaga’s favor is that it’s looking like it won’t be a very competitive year for the Oscars because the strike delayed so many movies to next year, but that was the case in 2021 too and they still didn’t want to even nominate her lol. I think she can win in the distant future but she’s going to need to be in a lot more movies and kind of do her time so to speak, and probably more serious dramas too instead of a jukebox musical.

Right? And I loathe musicals, as I have mentioned here 4.57345 million times now.

I hate original shit.

Give me Gaga and Joaquin maniacally driving erratically while singing 'Dragula' by Rob Zombie and shooting guns in the air and doing coke.

For some reason I can do jukebox movie musicals, but jukebox stage shows tend to make my mind go "this is fucking stupid."
That said... don't have high hopes for this

Hollywood: people apparently hate movie musicals so much we have to cut trailers to trick them

Also Hollywood: but let's make more of them!

What's interesting is that the soundtrack was by far the best part of the movie, and apparently they've decided to do without it
