i can't express how happy this makes me

my biggest issue with classics being remade or with sequels nowadays, is that you lose some of the original magic of the film when the newest release is CGI'd to hell and back (coughindianajonescough)

'Fine' will do me, so long as it's not outright bad... Just seeing these characters back on screen again is fun enough.

Yes. They make/remake cheesy 80s/90s movies too serious…see the last Ghostbusters (which of course had many other issues)

It's funny this coming out the same year as Dune came out because I think Beetlejuice is the first time I saw a pop culture reference to it because of the sandworms sequences in the film!
