MESS! Vogue Covers F1's Horner Investigation; Susie Horner Pursues Justice

Mar 20, 2024 17:29

VOGUE US wrote an article this week about the absolute shitshow of an investigation going on with Christian Horner, his harassment investigation and how its impacting the sport.

The Formula 1 racing season only officially began on March 2, but there’s a scandal already pulling focus from the season’s 24-race lineup. https://t.co/G8VhoZy3UN

Hope Susie burns them down 🔥

God this is still such a mess and I cannot believe still that RBR thought “trust us guys!” Would work in this day and age???

Me too tbh. Honestly she needs to check her husband though, he's been saying some weird shit.

I mean MBS was 'cleared' of his bs too so clearly they're operating in another dimension.

Toto is such a disappointment lol. I never really liked him but I thought I could at least respect him!

I feel like F1 is at an interesting point where they’re acting like they have but it’s not meeting with newer fan expectations and idk, I’m not sure if it’ll mean too much but it’s been interesting to see wayyyy more pushback.

Idk if this made sense 😂 I’m in class rn so I’m trying to be succinct

As a DTS hater, I'm thankful for the wave of new fans and social media spotlight it brought to the sport. I don't love how polished everything is these days (because we all know there's still so much shit under the surface and I don't even get messy teammates drama out of it) but if the tradeoff is that eventually more attention will bring more transparency, I'm all for it

I can't believe they dismissed the woman who made the allegation.

By which I mean I can believe it, because the world does everything it can to punish women who report harassment.

The fact that the FIA were all ready to investigate Susie based on absolutely nothing, but dismissed TWO ethics complaints against Horner? Absolute fucking shitshow. I hope she gets their asses in court and both Red Bulls DNF in Melbourne.

Anyway Lewis called for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza in his insta stories today. I really admire that he actually uses his huge platform in this backwater sport to push for concrete changes. The day he retires I'll cry fr

Now that Sebastian Vettel is gone, Lewis is the only one who is ever going to step up and say anything about anything. It's one of the reasons I root so hard for Hamilton. He is the only F1 racer who uses his platform to draw attention to issues and publicly support them.

I’m trying to stay objective cause he’s still besties with Elon who calls himself an honorary Jew and is all pro Israel

I'm also trying to stay objective reminding myself that rich people ain't shit, like, as a group. But I'm curious if he's changed his stance on Elon in the last year. It's INSANE the grip that man has on so many people when he's such a tool
