The official Eurovision Youtube channel has released a roundup of all 37 entries for this years competition. Minus the Big 5 (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom) and the host of this year, Sweden, all countries will have to perform in the semi-finals (May 7th and 9th) in order to grab a spot for the final (May 11th).

Did Iceland actually select Hera Bjork so they have no chance of winning or something? Her song is as snoozy as the last time she performed.

I dig Finland's because it is what I want in Eurovision - pure wackiness.

I think Iceland might NQ again. Nothing against Hera but I wish they sent Bashar instead.

Given how people were sus about how she won... That entire thing was a mess and it wasn't the fault of the performers of course.

There was an anti-Bashar/pro-Hera vote campaign (organised by someone who works for the Israeli broadcaster mind you) and there was some fuckery with the app/SMS voting in the last round of the final (which I suspect hurt Bashar more than Hera with her old ass fanbase)

Augh I don't have time to listen to all of them right now but I will soon. I must!! "It's crazy, it's party!"

Last year we had a Serbo-Austrian named Teya repping for Austria and this year we have another Teya repping for Serbia. Last year we had La Zarra for France and this year, ZORRA for Spain. And this year...this year there's also 2x the alyona

Last year there was Blanka (Bejba) and Blanca Paloma. This year, Bejba Blanka was in the music video for the Sanremo entry "Un ragazzo una ragazza." That was pretty unexpected.

The slovene entry was co-written by the singer of Joker Out, last year's entry.

i don't really listen to them much but I follow their path because a friend of mine became a huge fan and it's certainly an experience. One day they the singer was hanging out with the actor from Heartstopper, then Damon Baker took their photos, now they are on their european tour and apparently Sadie Sink was seen there with Damon, they are still friends with Kaarija, the austrian girls, the UK entry,... oh right, and the infamous singer from Ireland, the one with the golden pants, is now their manager XD

They were just in Latvia (or maybe Lithuania?) with Sudden Lights too. I became big fans of SL after last year's song and was surprised to see JO show up on their instagram a few weeks ago. They seem like such nice dudes considering how basically everyone loves them.
