Nah, that was extra carefully worded. He doesn't have debt to MGM...because he either suddenly paid it off, the debt is to another casino or there's something in his MGM contract about his debt under a politer legal phrase.

MGM cant actually come out and say that he owes them tens of millions of dollars and is basically enslaved to them until he pays it off. maybe its a bigger parent company he technically owes it to?
