Jesse Plemons and Emma Stone in talks for ‘Save the Green Planet’

Jesse Plemons is in talks to star alongside Emma Stone in Yorgos Lanthimos’ remake of ‘SAVE THE GREEN PLANET’.

The film follows a young man who captures and tortures a businessman whom he believes to be part of an alien invasion.

Yorgos is doing this now? I feel like I read Ari Aster was involved a while back. I saw the original on Criterion Channel a few years ago and remember it being a good enough time. I still don't entirely understand why we need to remake perfectly fine foreign language movies in English though.

Emma has 2 Yorgos projects in the works!!

Kinds of Kindness comes out in June this year and now this!! Even though her second oscar should've gone to Sandra Hüller! I gotta respect Emma's hustle. Even though I always felt something special from her ever since Superbad I'm still shocked she's gone from that to ALL THIS!!

Her working relationship with Yorgos is def mutually beneficial for both parties. He's kinda hit or miss for me cause The Favourite was PERFECT!! I didn't like Dogtooth. Rachel Weisz is the best part of The Lobster and the second half was the more interesting part of the story. Haven't seen Killing of the Sacred Deer yet.

I read she signed a first-look deal with Fremantle, so that's something! I really like her Yorgos film! I wish she had won BSA for The Favourite.

Funny enough she was like 3rd or 4th choice for that role.

Wait I read the Fremantle news too and I just forgot about it until you mentioned it!

Tbh I think she took a break from acting for a couple of years because she had a baby in 2018, but that baby is in elementary school by now so between that and her signing the Fremantle deal maybe she’ll start being in more movies again.
