Doctor Who Season 14 Teaser & Release Date

The new season will be released on May 10th at 7pm Eastern time (4pm Pacific time), which means the episode will come out in the UK at midnight for May 11th. In the US and many other countries it will be released on Disney+ and in the UK you can watch with BBC iPlayer (or on BBC One during Primetime later in the day).

they should just air it everywhere at the same time it airs on bbc, like they did with the specials. that way seemed to work out fairly well so it's strange to move it now. i wouldn't be surprised if disney pushed for the EST-PST airings to get the best time, which is dumb as the episode dropping late morning/early afternoon for those timezones (and the ones between) worked just fine?

The BBC knows that people watch via iPlayer so I feel like their going for a Netflix-style midnight release. But I miss following live tweets

People need to get Doctor Who as a British show out of their head. It's been gearing towards America since S6, but it belongs to Disney now.

I'm so used to Doctor Who being a weekend show that it's weird that they are releasing it Friday night. Considering I'll pirate it I guess it will still be a Saturday show for me lol
