Hmm, so a mammogram doesn't always catch it? There's no history of breast cancer in my family so I'm not too worried, but I would be if it's that hard to diagnose it.

Some folks have breast tissue that is too dense to have mammograms be successful at detection. In those cases they often get referred to have MRIs, which are far more sensitive to detecting changes in breast tissue (but can also result in false positives too).

Yeah I have big ass boobs and have only had one mammogram before, but I have no idea if it was effective at seeing anything.

My mom was diagnosed at 43. She passed away at 52.

I know Olivia has EXTREMELY DIFFERENT access to medical care than my mom did (and Olivia has the benefit of 11 years of medical advancement) but this is hitting hella close to home
