I feel bad for you guys in the US that can only really choose between pest or cholera. I am glad we have more than 2 parties. This also makes this whole Party A VS Party B fanboy nonsense less likely. I have literally never met a single person in my life wearing a party hoody or anything ridiculous like that.

I did met such people but only on two occasions
1) during election week and they were obviously being paid out to walk around wearing a candidate's t-shirt
2) I used to work at an election booth, and one of the women working there actually had the bright idea of coming wearing a party badge (I quickly mentioned it to the person in charge and they told the woman to remove it right away)

but yes to having more than two parties, I honestly can't recall an election where one party had won over 50% of the votes.

I'm South African and my city just held manifesto launches for 3 different parties in 2-3 weeks. They all used the largest stadium in the city. All of the parties there caused congestion when it was their day there. And you knew it was their party members and supporters because of the clothing they wore. My country loves wearing political party regalia. Some people have tailors and designers make theirs.

I mean, even in multi party systems, two generally rise to prominence.
