You get theater times like 3 weeks early? My theaters don't get times until like 3 days before with the odd exception of anime movies.

I'm always suspicious of standing-ovation-at-a-festival headlines because when you have a director present, of course you're going to go a little crazy with the applause. But apparently no other film shown this year has had a response like that. Happy for him!

(But also fuck SXSW for including child-killing weapons manufacturers and imperialism contractors. Yuck!!!)

Just checked my city, and while it's not showing in my theater of choice it is showing in a newish theater nearby I've been wanting to check out, so I'll be seeing it!
