A lot of these age gap relationships, I've noticed the woman either leaves the guy when she hits 30 or when she's the age he was when they started dating and she realizes how big an age gap that is from the other side.

I know of a case IRL with a large age gap where the woman was late teens and the guy early 30s when they started dating and she bolted very soon after she turned 30 and realized how much of her life she wasted on him.

(Like 12 or so years together and 2 kids, to be exact. The kids weren't a waste, but I don't think she wanted to be a mother when she could have been in college.)

i know a guy like this, he was 19 when he got with his now wife (who was 29 at the time) they have 2 kids under 3 and he's only just turned 26. he works with my bf and he's just so miserable constantly but i don't think he's really come to the realization yet
