I miss you lockdown. And I really miss social distancing.

commutes are the one thing I miss about going into the office

30 minutes of pure alone time, just wailing along to the radio

being alone at home is great, but it's not the same experience as that daily drive

I do not miss lockdown because I live alone in a studio and it was so isolated, depressing and crazy-making for me.

I can see how for some people it would feel more like a time out and vacation though, especially people with partners, yards, lots of space, etc.

I live alone (well, with a cat) in a small space in a major city and I loved it. But also quarantine is pretty much how I would choose to live my life - with occasional trip to see a Broadway show - if given the option. So it was pretty much my ideal situation. The occasional zooms with friends was more than enough.

Yeah I was living in a dorm room from Sept 2020 to April 2021 and I was incredibly isolated (I took Covid super seriously so avoided all exposure). While I am incredibly grateful that I did not catch COVID as I was not on the front lines/in customer service, I will admit that the isolation really took its toll on me.

Honestly not feeling liek I had to be anywhere or do anything was so freeing for me. Even though I was stuck in the house. I loved it.

I miss the lockdown in a sense of the time to have me to recover from burnout.

I don’t miss lockdown because I was living on my own and it was extremely taxing. I’m grateful for ONTD for getting me through it.

oh absolutely not. i was in a country where the government was carting people off to random places (unused dormitories, random government buildings, etc) if they tested positive and forcing them to stay there for 2 weeks, in shared rooms with random people! with varying reports of possibly getting the items you brought with you incinerated when you left!
luckily when i was forcibly lockdown-ed (2 separate times) it was in my own home, but i had to download a location tracking app onto my phone both times and if i didn't move my phone for awhile they'd call me or text me to make sure i hadn't absconded out of my house. and i didn't even have covid, just had been in the same room with someone who tested positive!
