this feels so long ago

it was my introduction to permanently working from home, and it made me realize I never want to be in an office again

god, i actually get so much more work done. whenever I have to go in the office and get interrupted 100 times I'm just like "I will get actual work done when I'm home"

Open office plans are hell and they should rot!

I had a discussion with my mum the last time I saw her, she thinks it's good to be in the office and be in contact with different perspectives and she just didn't want to listen or get when I said that you can get different perspectives at many places and don't need to be in an office for that. Not to mention it's really the worst if social interactions are draining for you and you have to deal with them in the office and then lack the energy to meet up with friends after work, when those are the people you actually want to see and spend time with.

I'm the opposite. it still feels like 2020-2023 was just one long year.

Same. I realized how depress it was making me having to travel so much everyday to get to work lol

I was so jealous of people who got to work from home. Hated the fact that my job as a nurse required me to miss out on the whole stay at home phase

So true being able to be fully remote opened so many things up for me, now I own a house and live outside the city in the countryside like before the pandemic I could never dream of this. Life has way more possibilities now then it did before.
