I never got into HP when I was a kid. I don’t even think I’ve seen every movie.

The world is a shit show and if adults want to get lost in sci-fi/fantasy movies, let them.

I wasn't into Harry Potter at all as a kid. I liked A Series of Unfortunate Events more. You can imagine my disappointment when we didn't get the entire series made into movies the way HP kids did.

Same! I read them in my early 20’s, loved them, but hated the films. Now I’m 40 and find it so odd how many of my friends are still OBSESSED with them. I’ve kept the books for my kids if they ever want to read them, but I’ve never been tempted to re-read them.
