lol I don’t like to make generalizations about Zers because us ~elder millennials~ were surely scapegoated by boomers and X’ers, but … my company, like so many now, are making people return to in office 2 days a week after full remote for 3 years during Covid. I get it, it sucks.. I hate it too, but 2 days a week and 3 from home is honestly not nearly as bad as most companies right now. Anyway … last week it “drizzled” one day and a few of the younger Zers said they couldn’t come in because of the rain and that they’d have to work from home on their scheduled in office day.

It was in the 50s and a light drizzle lol. I was irritated because I managed to show up fine ! Lol

omfg a guy at my work is having to stay in a hotel nearby three days a week for his office days right now because he commutes 200km by train and the train workers have just announced they're going to strike on completely random days for maximum disruption*.

(*because the company won't reduce their weekly working hours from 38 to 35. They refused an offer of 36. I have never said this about striking workers before, but these ones can all go and step on lego.)
