Love Lies Bleeding, the A24 film starring Kristen Stewart and Katy O'Brian, premiered last night in Los Angeles. Stars Jena Malone and Anna Baryshnikov and director Rose Glass (Saint Maud) were also in attendance at the premiere

I always feel like the "wrong" kind of wlw because I'm not attracted to women like KStew or Shane from The L Word.

Nothing wrong with having different tastes :) I think KStew is cute but also a little young for me, and Shane a little too messy. My main celebrity crushes are like Lucy Lawless , Lucy Liu, Janelle Monae, Rachel Weisz, Katie McGrath, Susan Sarandon, etc. I definitely lean towards the more age-appropriate femme side (and long dark hair, apparently) though occasionally I am taken by a more masc/butch woman (esp. Lupe García). Irl my type is definitely either Xena or Ms. Frizzle (love the art teacher vibes with wild curly hair lol). My current crush definitely has Xena vibes but also does drag king stuff (still deeply regretting turning down a Xena-themed strip tease for my birthday, but I was too shy to say yes).

Also just remembered that same crush invited me to see this movie this weekend...

For real though I'm working up to bringing up dating again - we actually met by going on a date but the timing was bad (she was poly at the time and in a messy relationship) so we decided to be friends instead. She's single now and says she's down for monogamy, but it's easier to be forward when you're not worried about ruining a friendship x_x

It's a ridiculous outfit, but I've got to hand it to her from a marketing point of view because she's got a shit ton of press for an A24 movie without a huge marketing budget.

I'm so excited for this movie, the festival reviews have been really promising. I've never seen Katy O'Brian in anything before but she's definitely got my attention now.
