Michael Rosenbaum who played Lex Luthor on Smallville sat down with Nicholas Hoult who just started filming James Gunn's Superman playing the iconic villain for his podcast Inside of You. They discuss the character, Nicholas' career including when he started getting recognised in life and how it made it feel about his career.

Ohh this will be interesting, I still need to watch the one with Mark Sheppard. I think he’s going to be a great Lex. I’m still feeling bummed about The Great being canceled, but I’m glad we got 3 seasons.

I think he's a lot of peoples. I'd love to see him revisit the role being older now. Even in just voice for something animated would be cool.

Adored Nicholas since About a Boy and then had renewed interest with Skins. He picks such interesting and variable roles, and never seems above the job no matter how silly or satire. He has great range and a very long career ahead of him.
