It’s like any other genre. Some are good. Some are bad. Unfortunately, too many focus on having a generic storyline that emulates most of the others.

Mte marvel created most of the genre’s tropes, and rarely challenges/subverts any of them so everyone gets bored of it.

yeah as someone who was never a big superhero movie fan but saw a bunch of marvel movies when they were the thing to do and can't remember most of them...the winter soldier is one of like two that still stick in my mind as something I came away impressed with. Sebastian Stan's intro against Chris Evans in that big fight was a MOMENT.
