Those names are something.

This makes me take it seriously though: "officially split last week when she filed for a temporary DV restraining order against Memphis and a judge granted her court-ordered protection." These are not granted on a lark. That means that there was genuine danger to her.

And when viewed through that lens, his statement comes across as deeply manipulative.

Filing for divorce AFTER your wife gets an order of protection is one way to not look NOT guilty. I remember he's a business man (Restaurateur) and I can see through his attempts to ~get out in front~ of a story with the whole "i'm heartbroken" narrative.
