I watched both seasons of Reacher (and Hunger Games but I don't remember him having a speaking role) and he's not good.
At least Hemsworth is surprisingly decent with comedy outside of playing Thor. I've yet to be convinced about Alan.
Having said that, looking forward to seeing him in another, hopefully less clothed role as possible soon.
