I'm a Wendy fan and I know what she'd probably say if another celebrity was going through what she is right now, but it's still not right. All I had to see was that clip of her with Tokyo Toni's daughter to know she's very unwell. Down to the facial expressions, she reminded me of my grandparents who went through dementia in their 90s. Also as a fan, I know she'd never want people to see her without a wig because she didn't like how thin her hair was!

they had tried to do a podcast series with wendy, but cancelled those plans. Its obvious why now, she probably couldn't hold a coherent conversation, let alone about celebrity gossip.

Her Niece/God daughter just did an interview on The View and said that Wendy cleared everything and wanted everything shown to control her own narrative. Honestly it makes sense and could possibly be a healing tool. It helps to see yourself in your worst moments when going through things sometimes so you can clearly see the magnitude of what’s happening with you. I had a friend recently go through some personal stuff and he dropped a TON of weight and was looking super unhealthy. He didn’t even realize it until he saw a picture of himself from when we were having a dinner party and it shook him to see himself in that state and he’s healthy and better now. Everyone has their own things and ways of coping and improving. Her Niece also said the last time they talked it was over 4 hours of conversation and she sounded very lucid and clear thinking so that was some good news!

Just gonna go ahead and say this right now because I keep seeing it being said everywhere, and it's stupid, so here we go; "Karma!" isnt the zinger people think it is, because dementia is so common, if you havent lost anyone to it, that's only not yet, and there's also the possibility that you yourself may end up with it someday too, because again, it's common, and you're not staying young forever. In addition to this, I've seen so many people talk about how hard it was to watch their family members endure that, and just know that when you imply that dementia is God's punishment for what a shit person she was, you're also implying that all these other peoples family members deserved it too, as again, is framing it as a punishment, and not as an illness that strikes people very suddenly, which is obviously horrific, so please just no one do that. No more. Lol ( ... )

I think they mean the woman who publicly revealed that Method Man's wife had cancer, something they'd kept private, so private that even his wife's family didn't know doesn't inspire sympathy.

I think they mean the woman who said Aaliyah was not a victim of R. Kelly, that she married him willingly when she was 15 years old, and also said R. Kelly's victim in the 2002 tape "let it go down" doesn't inspire sympathy.

And that's not even all she's done: https://np.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/7diwik/wendy_williams_says_that_terry_crews_coming/dpy8b31/

Maybe karma is the wrong term, but people not being bothered is not unreasonable.

You can absolutely be unbothered because she was definitely not a good person. But, to call it karma is disgusting. Same goes for cancer (or, tbh, any other illness). I’ve seen people say cancer was karma getting back at whatever foul person - but, there are 2 month olds with cancer - what the fuck did they do?

(stupid) people are saying that she's clearly been the victim of some nefarious forces, as she knew too much dirt. Because that's how dementia works. They can just suddenly cause you to have it (these people didnt seem to notice she was still on the air when she started being a bit off).

Also, other people are saying her money was kept away from her, when it seems like that was probably done for a good reason years ago.

Yeah, ultimately…dementia is just a horrendously common disease. This isn’t karma, it’s just life.

Exactly. She had been off for a few seasons in general.
