2x5: The Secret Inner Lives of Swans In November 1975, the day after the Esquire article is published, Truman receives an inspiring visit from a fellow writer.
I really hated the Babe and Truman reunion in the last episode. He did not deserve that closure. From what I've read though it seems like that didn't happen in real life and she really did never speak to him again.
You would be correct; that was Murphy taking certain liberties (ie: Happy Rockefeller fucking Babe's husband, Slim having an affair with Bill, another couple crashed the Black and White Ball IRL instead of Ann Woodward and her son, etc) with the source material. IRL, none of the Swans had anything to do with him after that Esquire article (which was a chapter in "Answered Prayers."
I so badly wanted to enjoy this but I was done after episode 3. The female talent in this is great but fuck that insufferable little worm, I can't tolerate any of Truman's scenes

I was so excited when I initially saw the cast list but I feel like these actresses are being wasted.
