I kinda understand his method??? when I was in university (I studied history) if there was some content I wanted to memorize word by word I remember writing certain letters to guide me until I knew all of it by memory. But I did it few times since in history you have to analyze/reflect more than memorize, I can't imagine doing that with a whole script

I think this is based on the idea that if you keep the first and last letter of a word the same and mix up the letters in between something something about how your brain knows what it's supposed to be and just goes with it?

I'd do shit like this in grade school and middle school when learning Gettysburg preamble and etc.

I used the same method for memorizing things in college too. It's why I still remember the brain diagram and the different regions (olfactory, optical, occipital) from one of my midterms which was yeaaaaaaars ago!
