This all just makes Deus sound better tbh. Not wanting to partner with a gambling app, license out his name, or make a movie with Judd Apatow aren’t bad things. And I’m side eyeing the fact that Mero doesn’t bring up the situation with their manager.

Seems to me Mero didn’t care about the brand that much and was willing to do just anything for money and Desus wasn’t ok with that which fair

This is just sad tbh I wanted to go to one of their shows so bad before Covid

I've been listening to Mero's podcasts and not really following up on Desus that much but I do think whatever the actual truth is it makes things look not great but I guess it speaks to their priorities

I mean, I get it. Dude has four kids and wanted to secure the bag and move to the next level, even so, Desus comes off as more principled from this version of events. HOWEVER, he's def leaving out that toxic manager drama and the only reason to do that is because it makes him look even worse.

Sad but sounds like irreconcilable differences to me, I don't think it'll do Mero much good in the end while Desus will probably be fine.
