I just started watching, but what I have learned so far is that there are a lot of actors who can't do convincing French accents.

Which is why so many shows pretend everyone in Europe is secretly speaking English with an English accent instead LOL. Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris used actual French people for their Dior and company (and Chris Evans' wife).

Aussie Ben has a great French accent. John Malkovich does not.

I remember watching Chernobyl and being so happy that none of the non-Russian actors attempted to do Russian accents lol

I’ve only seen the first ep so far and it was kinda slow to begin with, but it picked up towards the end. Some of the accents weren’t great and the dialogue feels stilted at times, but I’ll probably still give ep 2 a chance and then see how I feel about it.
