This whole Madison thing is such a shoe horned in plot. It makes no sense Olivia is this obsessed over it.

Seriously. I'd even take a "Noah being kidnapped" storyline over this Maddie one.

Also, the revolving door of female detectives on SVU is not a good look.

They better keep Curry around, especially after all that build-up at the end of the episode. She was fantastic!

What happened to the one from the gang unit, did she leave?

Yup. She transferred to another department. And there was a black female detective as well that has vanished this season - I don't think they're given a reason for her exit.

SVU is weird this season (like it basically has been since Warren Leight left as head writer). Hopefully the Maddie thing is going to have some greater payoff-they hinted that Olivia is basically just sublimating much of her previous traumas into the Maddie case, so maybe they can focus more on that, and even revisit some of the past cases/victims she mentioned?

Detective Bruno/Moneybags can stay though. PHEW!
