Rishi’s chai is way better than I expected for a bagged tea. I love when you can smell a tea as soon as you open the pouch/can.

I tend to go for Olympia Coffee Roasters’ Decaf Asterisk when I’m laying off the caffeine (which I need to start doing again, yikes), but only because it’s easy to find up here and I’m not coffee shop hunting like I used to.

I’ve noticed that quite a few small roasters are doing their own instant blends, but they’re usually in bags or use a disposable pour over cone. They’re more likely to be ethically sound than a grocery store brand. If you have an Asian grocery nearby, I’d check their coffee section so you can research whether the manufacturers are in the clear.

I love coffee so damn much. Currently I have the party size can of cafe bustelo in stock at home. I have few other small tin cans like Don Francisco too. Outside of that, with the recent crazy weather, I just go for AMPM coffee or usually the triple latte coffee from Trader’s Joe. The AMPM tropical line was really great. It really snatched me right away.

Anyways I’m def open to any coffee alternatives! Always wanted to try Vietnamese coffee! I also wanted to try out a bulk of variety Korean coffees too, so to see the differences. I def need morrrrreee energy

if you have a viet spot near you, try viet coffee! its just very strong coffee sweetened with condensed milk.

if you end up liking it, buy a can of cafe du monde coffee and condensed milk to make at home. youve prob seen it, cafe du monde in the orange tin can. and costco even sells a "lee's coffee" frozen viet coffee concentrate as well lol

I used to be able to drink coffee, but nowadays it makes me very sick (basically the last two times I drank coffee I developed food-poisoning like symptoms within an hour of consumption). It's not the caffeine because I drink green tea like no one's business.

I miss the days of a nice small latte. Hojicha lattes are an excellent substitute though.
