This series is such a lovely way to chase the Sunday night blues away. Was gutted by who left, but I'm sure they have a fantastic career ahead of them.

I agree that it's a nice relaxing way to spend Sunday night. I was disappointed by this week's elimination because she is such a skilled potter. She was so great at all of the throw down challenges too.

Maybe I'm not artsy enough, but I thought Steven's moss covered pieces just looked lumpy. If I had seen the pictures of everyone's water features without any explanation, I would not have known what his was supposed to be. I thought Donna deserved the win this week. Her snake was amazing!

Completely agree with everything you said!

I was a little surprised at the elimination, given they were second in the throwdown. Either their mistakes were too great and/or the throwdown results don't count as much as I'd thought.

As a complete layperson I also think Donna's should have won. But I'm also biased because she's one of my favourites.

I know that ideally the judges want a well thrown piece that's also decorated nicely, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd rather have a well thrown piece which is why I would have kept Princess. Obviously good decorating is necessary too but there's only so much ilpstick you can put on a pig. Good painting/decorating doesn't matter if you have a terribly lump of clay or it explodes in the kiln.

Usually the main challenge carries more weight but they do take the throw down into account, which was another reason why I was surprised by the elimination.

I can't believe the season is already half over. It feels like it just started!
