Omg yessss! I will admit I’m not the most well versed in Shakespeare but ugh, he broke my heart. He expressed so much. I know people hate on the movie but I do wonder if he would have gotten his due, awards wise, if it was released now.

Oddly enough we were doing it in English class the year it came out (we were probably the most attentive Shakespeare class that teacher ever had lol) so I know it a lot better than most of the other plays and... yeah. He killed it.

His character was molested by a priest as a kid and so he's struggling with this. His girlfriend asks him to help her son take a bath or something like that and you see him struggle for a moment where he's wrestling with the idea of touching the kid.

It was a very difficult scene to watch but the acting was absolutely incredible. Haunting.
