Looks like some states actually give a damn about protecting kids (and not clearing the way for them to return to the mines) and I’m glad to see it

good for them, some kids really seemed exploited by their parents. There's a kid gamer youtuber that has videos with his family and the other day they were doing video segments in a family resort hotel and the kid looked like he was already tired of the situation while the mom was just talking about how great the hotel is

It’s a step in the right direction. But there needs to be better laws at protecting kids from parents who exploit them for clicks. All I can think of is that prank family that would terrorize their children to the point of tears, and the go “oh lol jk, hahahaha, click the subscribe button see you next week”

Has anyone been watching the Caroline Easom "Family Vlogger" sketches? they got noted enough that she was on a local news station about the rise & need for legislation on content featuring kids.

Here's a compilation from 2 days ago

The Little Sandwich Extended Universe is wild! I never would have thought she would have been able to do these videos for so long.

Good, but like… kids shouldn’t be on there at all imo, even if it’s only 30% of the creators’ content.
