The last I heard, they only had four days of shooting left when the strike started. Hopefully they finished filming once the strike was over because it's been 84 years since S1!

they just went back to filming season 2. my guess would be next spring, maybe?

I'm intrigued by Shogun (Sanada Hiroyuki, hnnnnf), but I could swear there was a series of it already from like the 80s or something. Masterpiece theater maybe? Fuck yeah work for Asian actors though.

One Day may hit too fucking close to home right now, but I'll probably watch it when no one else is home just so I can bawl without embarrassment.

Yeah, there was a Shōgun mini-series back in the 80s with Richard Chamberlain that's supposed to be pretty good, but it was, like, 40 years ago & I don't even think they filmed it IN Japan
